1. Install foobar2000. 
2. Open the 'Run' dialog (Windows key + R) and type: %appdata%.
3. Create a backup of the foobar2000 directory.
4. Install the custom profile (contains a custom theme and all components that are relevant). Default path should be fine.
5. To get the album art to work, see filters in the foobar2000 preferences (File -> Preferences -> Display). The stub image path can be changed here too.  
    Ideally, the cover album art image files should be named as: cover.jpg, front.jpg or folder.jpg. These image files needs to be in the same directory as the music file itself. 

Protip: You can find the volume slider in the lower-right corner. Press, and use it.

Display current playing track:
1. Press Windows key + Insert and paste this, for example, into your IRC client.
2. To change the (default) hotkey, go to: File -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> Highlight the 'Copy name(s)' action in the 'Assigned shortcuts' list, and change its associated key.

Updating components:
1. Download the new version of the component that you want to update.
2. Open foobar2000 if you haven't yet and go to: File -> Preferences -> Components.
3. Click on the 'Install...' button and choose the downloaded component.
4. Restart foobar2000 to apply the changes.
